We have been in the home building business in Southern New Mexico since 1981. We were immediately impressed with the ARXX high performance wall system when we were first introduced to it. We felt that the insulated concrete form system was an ideal product for our desert climate. Much like the traditional adobe wall system with its massive walls, the ARXX high performance wall system the offers the architectural equivalent of adobe, but with up to date engineering and technology. The ARXX system allows us to build walls with the equivalent mass of an adobe wall but because of the unique interlocking form system our walls are much straighter, and better insulated than typical adobe walls. With appropriate bracing in place it is also possible to build walls much taller than with adobe.

We like the opportunity to recess the window in our walls, and still have a ten or twelve inch wide windowsill. Seeing the thick walls in the windows and exterior doors gives one a sense of security and peace of mind that one just does not experience in a frame house. When the wind blows, you will hardly notice it in an ARXX home, and if you are allergy prone, building a really tight home is easily accomplished. Because of the reduced air infiltration of an ARXX home, we recommend installation of an air exchanger, to provide a source of fresh air that is filtered before it enters the home. This will reduce the amount of pollutants and allergens entering the home as well as keep it cleaner for you. Reduced housework, now that is a feature that everyone should love!
