In 2001 an Outstanding Green Product Award was presented to Arxx Construction.
A Green Advocate is a person who is a champion for the green building industry. Someone who, through their tireless and often voluntary efforts, has effected
change in the field of resource-efficient new home construction.
Outstanding Green Product Award
The Outstanding Green Product is the product which has the biggest effect on advancing resource-efficient home
construction. This award will is determined by ballot at the Green Building Conference.
Green Project of the Year-New Home
The Green Project of the Year. New Home goes to a company that best showcases green
design and construction techniques in new home construction. The winning builder will demonstrate careful planning and material selection and systematic quality control in implementing green construction techniques. Awards will
be given in the production/affordable and custom/luxury categories.
Green Marketing Award
The Green Marketing Award goes to a builder who best uses resource efficiency as a central theme in advertising
campaigns. Credit will be given for sales staff, trade contractor, and potential homebuyer training and education efforts.
Green Building Program of the Year
Given to a home builders association, non-profit, or
other agency with an exemplary, growing green building program. Applicant should demonstrate efforts to expand the program through advertisement, builder recruitment, training, and education.
